Community Garden

The client is a church looking for a way to connect with the local community and meet the need for food security in the surrounding area.

Situated on a busy road with plenty of prominence to passing traffic, this design is intended to invite people in to explore, taste, and enjoy. 

Garden beds vary in height and shape to create interest. There is a rotunda as a central seating space to share food prepared in the garden, and a play area at one end under the shade of a jacaranda tree.
