About us

Olivera is a landscape architect and design studio with a focus on designing beautiful, sustainable and edible gardens. We design for residential, commercial, schools and public spaces. Olivera began in 2020 out of Alannah's passion for plants and people and creating spaces that encourage interaction. Alannah has a Masters Landscape Architecture from Deakin University. In 2025, Olivera also launched Plant the Seed, a hands-on sustainability education program creating habitat gardens, biodiversity and tree canopy in schools. In 2026, Olivera is excited to be a finalist in the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show Boutique Garden competition. Coming soon in March 2026 with

Welcome to Olivera

Olivera began in 2020 as a landscape design business, grown out of Alannah's passion for creating spaces that encourage people to interact with their environment. It has since grown from residential design to commercial, town planning, rural acreage and school design. Alannah has a Masters Landscape Architecture.
​In 2025 we launched our school environmental education program PLANT THE SEED - bringing sustainable design projects to primary school students across Victoria. Olivera is shortlisted as a finalist at the upcoming Melbourne Flower and Garden Show 2026 with Re-Learn, Re-Grow, a garden exploring layers of time and meaning in the Victorian Volcanic Plains (Wadawurrung Country).

Plant The Seed

Explore the natural world of soil, seeds and plants with Landscape Architect, Alannah Easton. Understand how natural systems are fundamental to life and how we can design our environment for a sustainable future​. PLANT THE SEEDTM is a sustainability education program for schools that provides hands-on experiences of the natural world. Join Alannah in making compost to improve the soil in your school, collecting seeds to grow plants, or planting trees to create a habitat garden. Our philosophy is centred around encouraging greater connection with nature and improving biodiversity in amongst the urban sprawl.
